1.College Rally:

With an aim to preserve the greenery of the city and to create awareness among the public environmental issues, our college started a rally in 2014 named “Go Green Rally”.

To address the issues and keep the public actively involved in keeping the city beautiful, our students prepare with various slogans and quotes to create the public awareness

2.College Week:

Annual Sports on College Week is an important event in the life of every college student ,College life without sports will be dull and dreamy.

3. Intra College Debate Competition :

Intra College Debate Competition is held every year to enhance the public speaking skills of students.

4.Inter and Intra College Quiz Competition :

Inter and intra college Quiz competition held every year help the students to raise their IQ level and improve their knowledge.

This event is organised by the senior students of our college to have a good communication with their seniors. Programmes like traditional and fusion dance,studying,dramas etc add confidence and positivity in their behaviour.

5. College Excursion :

An excursion trip is conducted by the college every year for providing students with expression out side their every day activities.Such field trips are camping with teachers and classmates provides a common ground  with more advantaged and less advantaged student to have some cultural experience in Arts.

The 1^st excursion trip was made to the area of dramatic landscape that includes India’s highest mountains Kanchenjunga and its Himalayan foothill Darjeeling.We visited the tiger hill to see the Sunrise ,Mirik lake and  the Nathu-la Pass, 4310 m from the sea level to experience the height of the  Himalaya.

The 2^nd trip was made to Shimla and Manali.We visited the mall road,  had a wonderful ride by the toy train from Kalka to Shimla.In Manali , we explored the Setang Valley,Rotang pass,Hidimba Devi temple and the local market of Manali.

The 3^rd trip was to Delhi and Rajasthan .We visited the India Gate,the Akshardham temple,the Red fort and Chandnichowk.Then started Journey to Jaipur, Jaisalmer,Bikaner,Udaipur and Jodhpur.We visited all the mahals and Havelis and also enjoyed zeep and Camel ride in the desert camp.

The 4^th trip was to Bangalore, Ooty, Coorg and Coonoor. We visited the Tipu Sultan Palace,Iscon temple at Bangalore .In our journey to Coorg,Ooty and Coonnor we visited various tea gardens,Coffee plantation,Hill sides,water falls ,View points,Chocolate factories etc.

6. Women’s Empowerment Programme :-

A women’s empowerment programme is conducted where girls are provided instructions regarding selfdefence.

7.College Painting Workshop:-

A painting workshop is conducted where each and every students have to perform in the workshop and thereby can enhance their art skills.

8.MUN programme-

MUN programme is conducted where the students can perform and enhance their political and social knowledge of the world.

9. Cleanliness Awareness Campaign:-

A cleanliness awareness campaign is done where the students do field work to make the society aware of the responsibilities to keep the surroundings clean.

10. Bhupen Hazarika’s Death Anniversary :-

Dr. Bhupen Hazarika’s death Anniversary is also celebrated by our college in remembrance of Dr.Bhupen Hazarika’s and his contribution to the country.

11. Documentary Presentation Programme.

In order to make students effective  in practical world and to increase the efficiency of the students  a documentary  presentation programme is conducted ,where group of students compete with other groups by preparing their documentaries.

12.Independence day Celebration :-

Along with all, Eastern Valley College also become a part in the celebration of the independence day of our country.

13. Republic day celebration :-

Eastern Valley College celebrates the “Republic Day” the coming in to force of our countries constitution.

14. Subhash Chandra Bose birthday Celebration :-

With the aim to spread the awareness about the struggle and success of Netaji and  how he contributed in the Indian freedom struggle, our college  celebrates the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

15. Rabindra Jayanti Celebration :-

RabindraJayanti is celebrated annually by our college in the rememberence of Rabindra Nath Tagore’s birth anniversary.

16. Inter School Cricket Tournament:-

An inter School Cricket tournament is also conducted by Eastern Valley College where different schools participate and enjoy the same.
